UrbanLink Consultancy · Privacy and data handling
Privacy policy: how UrbanLink Consultancy handles information
This privacy policy explains our minimum-data approach. Public calculators and the contact composer work in your browser. Information reaches us only when you deliberately send an email or WhatsApp message, or provide records for an agreed tax or consultancy assignment.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
Credential boundary: never send an IRIS password, PIN, OTP, email password or banking login through this website, email or WhatsApp.
Privacy policy at a glance
The practical version, before the detail
These four points describe the normal journey from a public page to an instructed client matter.
Calculations stay in your browser
Our public tax and age calculators, and the contact message composer, process entries on your device unless you actively send or copy the result.
Routine technical records exist
Hosting and security systems may record an IP address, browser, request time, requested URL and similar information needed to deliver and protect the site.
Your chosen channel receives the message
If you open WhatsApp or email, the service you chose processes the details you send under its own privacy terms.
Records follow the agreed assignment
We handle identity, tax, financial and correspondence records only to assess, perform, document or defend instructed work, subject to applicable requirements.
Who is responsible for this privacy policy?
UrbanLink Consultancy is responsible for the information it receives and controls through this website, direct enquiries and its management consultancy and tax-support work. You can contact us at info@urbanlinkconsultancy.com or at G-38, Fatima Commercial Centre, Airport Road, Bahawalpur Saddar, Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
This privacy policy covers public website use, calculator and composer interactions, messages sent to us, and records used in an agreed client assignment. A written proposal, consent record or engagement communication may add matter-specific instructions. When another platform or authority controls a service—such as WhatsApp, an email provider, Hostinger or FBR/IRIS—its own notice also applies.
What information may we handle under this privacy policy?
What we receive depends on the route you choose and the work you request. It may include:
- Contact and enquiry details: name, phone number, email address, selected service, message, preferred contact route and follow-up history.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived by a provider, referrer, request time, pages requested, error information and security events.
- Client and tax records: identity and registration details, income and withholding records, assets and liabilities, property or business information, notices, correspondence, calculations and supporting documents.
- Assignment records: instructions, consent, scope, fee, status, review notes, work product, submission evidence and resolution history.
- Billing records: invoice, payment status and transaction references. We do not ask for online-banking credentials.
We do not need your secret credentials
Do not disclose passwords, PINs, OTPs, email credentials or banking logins. Where a task requires action in a protected account, we will agree a safer, documented method that keeps authentication under the account holder’s control.
Why does UrbanLink Consultancy use information?
We use information only for a defined operational, service, security or record-keeping purpose. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not repurpose client tax records for unrelated marketing.
| Purpose | Typical information | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Respond and triage | Contact details, service selected and message | To understand the request and provide a relevant next step. |
| Perform agreed work | Client, tax, financial and correspondence records | To review, calculate, prepare, communicate and document the assignment. |
| Protect the service | Technical logs and security events | To prevent abuse, investigate errors and keep the website available. |
| Maintain records | Consent, scope, fee, billing and work history | For accounting, professional records, legal obligations and dispute handling. |
| Improve the website | Aggregated or technical observations | To correct defects and make public information easier to use. |
How does the privacy policy apply to local tools?
The calculators and the message composer on our contact page are designed to process entries in the browser. Their ordinary operation does not submit the entered figures or draft message to an UrbanLink database, create an account, or save entries in browser storage.
Refreshing or closing the page normally clears those entries. If you then click a WhatsApp or email action, copy the result, or separately send the information, that deliberate action moves it to the chosen channel. Ordinary hosting request data may still be generated while the page itself loads. This privacy policy should be read with the explanatory notes shown beside each public tool.
Does this website use cookies or analytics?
At this privacy policy’s publication date, UrbanLink Consultancy does not intentionally run advertising cookies or a public behavioural-analytics service. WordPress administration, hosting, caching, security and email-delivery systems may still use necessary session cookies, technical identifiers and logs to authenticate administrators, serve pages, detect abuse or diagnose failures.
Public visitors should therefore encounter a minimal technical footprint, but it may not be literally zero. If we later introduce analytics, advertising or another non-essential tracking feature, we will review the need for notice and consent and update this page before relying on it.
Which external providers may receive information?
We use a limited service stack. The provider involved depends on what you do:
- Hostinger: website hosting, business email infrastructure and related server functions. Technical logs and stored site data may be processed in its infrastructure.
- Google Fonts: font files are requested to render this page, so a browser request is made to Google when those fonts load.
- WhatsApp: only when you choose a WhatsApp link and then send a message. WhatsApp receives the account and message information under its terms.
- Your email application and providers: when you select an email link or send email to us.
- Google Maps: only if you follow our external location link; no map is embedded on this page.
- FBR/IRIS and other official portals: when you follow an external link or use an authority’s system. UrbanLink does not control those platforms.
Some providers may process information outside Pakistan. Their locations, safeguards and retention rules are described in their own notices, linked in the reference section below.
When may information be shared under this privacy policy?
Information may be shared with a service provider needed to operate the website or complete instructed tax-support work; a professional adviser where confidentiality and the assignment require it; a court, regulator, authority or law-enforcement body when disclosure is lawfully required; a successor in a genuine business transfer subject to suitable safeguards; or another person when you clearly direct or consent to the disclosure.
We aim to limit each disclosure to what the recipient needs for that purpose. A client’s record is not made public, sold as a lead or exchanged for unrelated promotion.
How long is information kept?
There is no single retention period for every record. Enquiries are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, assess scope and manage follow-up. Client records are retained for the assignment and for any further period needed for tax, accounting, professional record, legal, security or dispute purposes. Hosting and security logs follow operational and provider schedules. Backups remain until they are overwritten or expire in the backup cycle.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we delete it, anonymise it or allow it to expire from the relevant system. Immediate removal from every backup may not be technically practical, but deleted information is not restored for ordinary use.
How is personal information protected?
Our privacy policy is supported by HTTPS transport, restricted administrative access, software updates, backups, minimum-data design and a clear boundary against receiving secret credentials. Access to working records is limited according to the assignment.
No website, device, email account or messaging service can be guaranteed completely secure. Choose a suitable channel, keep control of authentication, check the recipient before sending, and tell us promptly if information appears to have been sent to the wrong destination. Our tax tips also reinforce safe information handling.
What privacy choices can you make?
You may ask whether we hold information about you and request access, correction, deletion or restriction where appropriate. You may also ask us to stop optional future communications. Send a clear request to info@urbanlinkconsultancy.com.
We may need to verify identity without requesting a password, PIN or OTP. A request may be limited where records must be retained for law, tax, accounting, security, professional responsibility, another person’s rights or a dispute. We will explain the practical position when responding.
Is the website directed to children?
No. UrbanLink Consultancy’s tax and management consultancy services are not directed to children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has supplied personal information without appropriate involvement, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
How will this privacy policy change?
We may update this page when our website, service process, providers or applicable requirements change. The revised date will appear at the top, and a material change may also be highlighted through an appropriate client or website notice.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication currently publishes its May 2023 Personal Data Protection Bill as a draft. This page does not misstate that draft as enacted law. We monitor the applicable framework, including published cybercrime legislation, and adjust our practices where required.
Privacy policy questions
Direct answers before you send anything
No. Their ordinary operation processes entries locally in your browser and does not submit them to an UrbanLink database. Information moves only if you deliberately copy or send it through another channel.
Your device opens the chosen service with a draft or destination. If you send the message, that service and its providers process the information under their own terms, and UrbanLink receives the resulting message.
Not intentionally at the publication date. Necessary hosting, security, caching or WordPress administration technology may still create technical identifiers, logs or administrator cookies.

A deliberate route
Ask before you share a sensitive record.
A short privacy question can prevent unnecessary disclosure. Tell us what type of record is involved—without attaching it—and we will identify the sensible next step.
